“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”-Lauren DeStefano
Summer is perfect with the long daylight hours filled with great outdoor activity, the spontaneity of road trips and BBQs. It is the Fall season that brings a reprieve to the hustle and bustle and the eagerness to wander amongst the glow of the fall colors. We can pause to take a deep breath, bring back healthy routines and take in the glory of nature's grand finale. In the article from sharecare.com; “Fall colors can actually boost your mood Rich reds, vibrant oranges, warm yellows—the brilliant colors of fall foliage may do more than delight your senses. The colors you notice when the leaves begin to change may have some mental health benefits, too. The color yellow is often thought to convey energy, enthusiasm, fun, cheerfulness and a positive emotional state. Red may help improve your attention span and boost your confidence. And it’s possible that fall foliage and cool temps may bring about happy memories. Take time to step outside and enjoy the beauty that autumn has to offer. Go for a walk, take a drive to see the leaves change or simply visit your local park for some outdoor time. You could also fill your home with fresh fall flowers—such as Hypericums, dahlias, and Leucadendrons—or decorate with the warm, cozy hues of fall.” https://www.sharecare.com/health/healthy-habits/article/healthy-reasons-love-fall The Fall Season also grants permission to shed the previous years' growth to build up the reserves to be strong for the next season of growth. It allows to clear away spaces, shed lingering habits and replenish from the past hard work of growing, strengthening and blooming. Now is a time to evaluate what is serving you and take the fall to regenerate for the next big growth spurt. Clearing out those spaces can take the most work of all. It can be physical spaces, like the closet, garage, or back maintenance room. There can be a need to clear the mental space, heart space, body space and how the spaces are viewed around us. The Fall Season shows us its glamour as it unknowingly causes us to decelerate into slower and soften rhythms. These rhythms lead to regulating routines and re-booting them to be healthier. To boost the body, mind, and spirit:
There is a balance that comes with the Fall Season, sometimes it seems overwhelming where to start. The start simply with taking that deeper breath, that long walk, a good book (I recommend Daring Greatly by Brene Brown) or launching a new routine with products freshly launched to rejuvenate self-care. When seasons change it causes awareness of what will be next. “Renewal requires opening yourself up to new ways of thinking and feeling.”-Deborah Day The bold colors, spirited festivities, and wholesome food the Fall Season brings comfort in changes that can be made. It is a perfect time to adjust to new habits, healthy ways and take advantage of focusing on yourself in new ways. Happy Trails- Ask the Garden Gal, Jodi Cook. To Soothe The Soul by: Kathy Jerore, CND DrKathy@DrKathysNaturalRemedies.com When looking at and caring for your heath holistically, it's important to treat the whole body, including not just the physical symptoms, but the emotions as well. A very gentle and subtle way to do that is with Bach Flower Essences. They were created by Dr. Edward Bach, who became a conventional medical doctor in London in 1912. Dr. Bach was very aware that people's personalities and attitudes had a stong bearing on the health of his patients. Over time, he came to the conclusion that, in illness, personality was more important than the symptoms and should be taken into account when giving medical treatment. As his understanding grew, he became increasingly dissatisfied with the limitations of orthodox medicine with it's focus on just the physical symptoms of a person. Around 1920, Bach worked as a pathologist and bacteriologist at the London Homeopathic Hospital. While there, he learned that Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, had recognized the importance of personality in disease 150 years prior. In 1928, he began experimenting, based on the energy signatures of the plants. Dr. Bach used the flowers or leaves of plants to attain the frequency signatures of the plants. He would boil the flowers or leaves in water, which extracted the frequency essence of the plant into the water and made the remedies using that process. With one exception, which is the remedy Rock Water, which came from a brook of rushing water, being tossed over the rocks. As he continued his work, Bach eventually became so fine tuned to the plants that by just holding the flower or tasting a petal, he could immediately sense what the healing effects would be. That sounds great, but as he discovered each one, he would also suffer the states of mind and body for which they were needed. It was a painful and exhausting method of research, but through his experiences, he was given a great understanding of his patients and what they were going through. Shortly after his 50th Birthday in 1936, Bach became seriously ill, which lasted for a few months until finally died in his sleep. By then, he had developed 38 Flower Essences, plus Rescue Remedy, a combination of 5 Bach Essences. He felt at that time, that no further essences were needed and that 38 Essences covered all the negative states of mind underlying various illnesses. Since that time, there have been additional flower essences created for many other emotional situations, from other companies after Dr. Bach. DR. BACH'S PHILOSOPHY: Disharmony arises when interference deflects us from our true course – through interference by other people, or our own moods, fears and hesitations. Dis-ease is the reaction to interferences. This is temporary failure and unhappiness and this occurs when we allow others to interfere with our purpose in life and implant doubt, fear or indifference into our minds. And, it is important to remember that we should not interfere in the lives of others either. Dis-ease is in reality, for our good, and is beneficial in that it draws our attention to the need to listen to our true selves. The Flower essences help return us to our pat, not by attacking the disease, but by flooding our bodies with higher vibrations in the presence of which disease melts always. Bach's 7 Moods which prevent us from being true to ourselves: 1. Fears (of known or unknown origin) 2. Uncertainty 3. Loneliness 4. Despondency or Despair 5. Insufficient Interest in present circumstances 6. Over-sensitivity to Influences and Ideas. 7. Over-Care for the Welfare of Others CHOOSING AND USING THE ESSENCES: It is very possible and likely, that more than one essence may be suitable for an individual. And, fortunately up to 5 or 6 essences can be combined. More then that could over-whelm the body or cause some temporary discomfort. Finding the root cause of the problem would be the best place to start, but sometimes, people are not aware of what that even is. It could be fear, childhood trauma, hatred or resentment that has sometimes been buried. If you pick the wrong Essence, it will not do any harm or cause problems. You just won't have any effect from the Essence and will need to find another. TAKING THE ESSENCES: Purchase “Stock Bottles” and make your Treatment bottles from them for yourself and others. Add 4 drops of each Essence to a 1 oz. dropper bottle and add bottled spring water to it. Store in a cool place and away from electronics (cell phones). They will last about 3 weeks, which should be long enough to have a result. Or, add your drops to bottled water and sip on it over a number of days. BABIES & CHILDREN: Drops can be added to a baby's bottles or a child's fruit juice. MEDICATIONS: The Flower Essences can be taken with medications, (including homeopathic remedies) without counteracting or interference from each other. LENGTH OF TIME FOR REMEDIES: This can vary according to the individual and the circumstances. Some of that can depend how long term the problem has been around. It make take a few weeks for the desired result. Other times, it may only take a few doses or a few days. I have frequently found that when people no longer need the Essences, they just suddenly just stop remembering to take them. If you have no results after a few weeks, it is likely that you need to select a different Essence. There may be something that you have missed. The Essences are generally very subtle level as they clear things and sometimes you even forget you had the problem. Sometimes, other aspects will surface after you clear something else. REACTIONS: Seldom have I heard of anyone having a negative or adverse result with the Flower Essences. However, like other natural remedies, they may allow suppressed symptoms to surface. This could include: deep urge to sleep, purging, rashes, or an awareness of emotions which have been suppressed. These are an important part of the healing process and are only temporary. RESCUE REMEDY: For Emergencies, Trauma and Stress This is a composite of 5 Flower Essences: Impatiens, Star of Bethleham, Cherry Plum, Rock Rose and Clematis. Having a small bottle for emergencies is wise to carry. Also available as a cream and in other forms as well. For stress-inducing events such as: exams, interviews, stage fright, fear, anger, dental or doctor visits, accidents, shock, trauma, etc. Sip on a glass of water with drops in it or in emergencies, add drops directly under the tongue. (Also safe for pets). AND THE JOURNEY CONTINUES: In more recent years, especially since the 1990's, Healers have continued to experiment with plants and have discovered additional Essences to assist in the healing. As the knowledge of the Mind – Body and psychosomatic relationships to stress and personality has increased, so have the number of Flower Essences that are available. Flower Essences work on healing the Soul, but modern medicine only attempt to work on the physical body. The soul is connected to the astral body, which is the home of the emotions; our likes, dislikes, and our experiences. We are complicated because the soul arises from the spiritual world, yet expresses itself through the physical body. In Greek, the word psyche means both “soul” and “butterfly”. This image suggests that the soul is capable of transmutation, or a metamorphosis from the earth-bound caterpillar to and enclosed chrysalis and finally to a heavenly butterfly with wings. This has led today to the understanding of the importance of doing inner work to transmutate the soul. Our personal wellness and sense of wholeness depend on the greater well-being of the world in which we live. Using the Flower Essences promotes a dynamic relationship between inner and outer, personal and social, the human world and the natural world and personal awareness and consciousness. Flower Essence therapy addresses the relationship between the human soul and the soul of Nature. It incorporates ancient wisdom with a modern awareness of the human psyche and of Nature itself. They are known as Vibrational Medicine and have no direct impact upon the body's biochemistry as pharmaceutical drugs do. Flower Essences leave the soul in freedom. They encourage change working by vibrational resonance rather than bio-chemical intervention. They stimulate an inner dialogue with hidden aspects of the Self and speak to the soul, allowing changes to take place on a deep, yet subtle level. The Essences stimulate lasting changes in consciousness, which continue to be a part of our lives after we stop taking that essence. Realign your thought to bring your life into balance.
Dealing with Grief
As many of you may have already noticed, my blog articles are inspired by experiences when working with my clients. Here is another good example. I received a phone call from another client. Let's name her M.
M. told me that she needs to see me as soon as possible. Her voice sounded very worried… Being as busy as I usually am, I realized that M needed immediate attention and scheduled her for the next day. M is an old client of mine. I know her family history. A few years ago she experienced real-life drama when both of her grandparents and her father died within a year and a half. M’s mom also passed recently and after that M started to experience severe panic attacks when she hears that someone gets sick, has passed away, or simply when she is thinking about the future of her children, her husband or people who are close to her. When she came to see me the next day, I explained to her that what she was experiencing is a feeling of grief. On one side there is an emptiness that formed from the physical absence of the person, on the other side is a projection on the people who are around her and a feeling of fear that comes from this projection about what “might” happen. This was the underlying cause of M’s panic attacks. Feeling grief. All of us understand and process it differently. When do we start to grieve? Is it when we hear for the first time someone complains, observing them, or knowing that they are sick? Is it when we hear the doctor’s verdict? Or when we visit them in the hospital, being as nice and cheerful as we can. Meanwhile, doing our best to keep an artificial mask on the face and pretend that everything is fine. Hoping that somehow the issue would resolve itself on its own and we would be able to get back to our “normal” (sometimes it happens) but sometimes we know deep inside that it would never be “normal” again. What if what we experience now, is as “normal” as it can be? In my practice, I offer my clients multiple varieties of techniques that help to deal with a tremendous amount of stress during challenging times, as well as providing the possibility to stay calm and focused. Even go as far as a possibility to diminish physical and emotional pain. This, in turn, would help. To improve the wellbeing of self and others. Of course one of my most favorable techniques is meridian tapping. It seems to work the best allowing the person to release worries almost instantly. A few rounds of tapping usually brings the stress level down, almost to zero, in just a few minutes. During many years of my working with people, and educating them on how to diminish and let go of stress in their lives, I have not found another technique that works as fast as tapping. This is what I offered to do with M.when she came to see me. Her stress level went from 10 down to 2 after about 10 minutes of tapping. It allowed her to let go of her fears, pain, visuals, and the pain of others, which allowed us to finish a session with guided imagery. I advised her to imagine her children, her husband, and herself at their best health and overall being. M. left our session peaceful and gleaming. Now, I invite you to experience the magic of tapping for yourself. Most likely, the entire exercise will take only 5-10 min. Please, close your eyes and think about a recent situation that was very stressful for you. Observe yourself with your inner eye. Then, notice how you feel. Notice if you have any tension in your body and where. What are your primary thoughts? On a scale from 0-10 (0-you are peaceful,10 - the highest level of stress) just give a number to your feelings. It is interesting that the stronger you feel about a situation that challenges you, the easier it is to let it go. Now allow yourself to imagine helium balloons flying away. Think about challenge again and with two fingers start to tap in the following areas:
When you tap, pay attention to your fingers. Don’t pound yourself. Just tap gently and lovingly. Check-in as to how you feel. What is the number of the challenge? Did it go down? Do another round of tapping and allow yourself to notice how much calmer you become with each round. Finish with imagining some happy moments of your life. The time when you feel very good. Take a deep breath. Hug yourself and say the word LOVE. Send this LOVE, PEACE, and CALMNESS to yourself and to the people you care about. Also, to your own memories, to release them. ALSO: To the entire world, knowing that it will come back to you thousands of times stronger. LOVE and PEACE. |

I have been channeling St. Germain for almost 30 years. I am sharing two of the “many” channeled messages I’ve received over the years. I picked these two as they remind us to be an active part of the play of our lives.
“Eternity doesn't exist as a time and place. It just is. We are all living "eternally" every day. Waiting for a time or place is merely an excuse for not owning your current state - your current recognition of your own eternity. Choose action and interaction as your course. Really experience your choices. Inaction is a choice and should be enjoyed and honored as any other choice. Whatever your state of being is - just "be it". Explore all the cracks and crevices of your existence. The joyful and painful alike. You chose them, make the most of that choice. When we embrace our chosen experiences, we allow space to recognize, grow and make different future choices. We only repeat that which has been left unlearned or un-experienced. Embrace your human condition - it is truly unique unto itself. An opportunity to genuinely experience love in physical form. Such a blessing!” “We are creatures of habit by nature. We find ourselves "stuck" in the grooves of the worn-out path - the path of surrender. Surrendering to sameness and mindless routine is the opposite of spiritual surrender. Fight the desire for safety and routine. Embrace the wonderment of change and growth. The world is ours to create. Oh, the woes ahead for those who have forgotten to dream. Do not waste this precious existence merely existing! Embrace the unknown, love the unlovable, forgive the sinners. Do not suffer in silence. Continue to unite and gather in love - for change begins within. When we gather in love, we remember! We remember that when we gather with the love of God in our hearts and minds, we bring light into this world that overshadows all the darkness and inhumanity. Gathering is creating, building, and sharing the light of God in ways you cannot even imagine! So be it!” Recipe of the MonthFrom the Kitchen of
