Can you believe it is 2020? I am titling this decade the, “Roaring Twenties”. I am not suggesting repeating the decade of 1920, but rather experience a modern decade born of this century. A decade lived in ways we have never thought of before. It is 2020 all brand new!
I believe this decade is a special gift to each of us. We have the chance to develop ourselves, evolve down any path we choose. Create a prosperous life, no matter how you define it. We can truly be kind to one another. We can learn new skills, no matter our physical age. We can adjust our perspective and judgements. We can bring fresh ideas to the table. We can keep our physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual selves tuned in more than we ever have. It is time to wake up and see how everything around us is changed on this day. To be ready to explore and just have fun! Wow. If that sounded like a lot, well it can be. It all depends on how you handle situations. I offer suggestions to make your life more comfortable. No matter what situations you find yourself in there are always tactics you can try to help you manage. A lot has to do with your perspective on the situation, the emotions you experience and how you take care of your physical self. How connected and trusting are you of your spiritual self? There are many ideas you can apply to help you make improvements in those areas. I deal with your nutritional self. I offer food suggestions and herbal suggestions based on what you tell me. I also suggest exercise and counseling if necessary to get those positive changes in place. It really is never too late to make improvements during your lifetime. “Healing Is a Process, Not a Pill” Why Cleansing Is ImportantThe Chinese recommend cleaning the body with each season change. Now that the Holidays are over, many people are trying to eliminate the excess weight they suddenly found. To bring about healing and restoration of the body and good health, internal cleansing is needed to help replace old tissue with new. If you have not tried a cleanse before, a good place to start is with digestive enzymes after each meal and a basic colon cleanse, with lots of fiber.
This information is known as Herrings Law of Cure and explains how one organ systems have an effect on another and eventually causes a deterioration process of the body. When the body starts to heal, the healing process begins in reverse order.
Germs do not cause disease, but they do seek conditions conducive to their growth. Seventy percent of your health starts in the colon, so the use of probiotics and a good cleansing if important. Poor eating habits, not enough rest and a stressful lifestyle all increase toxicity and decrease the body's ability to eliminate the toxic residue. Realign your thought to bring your life into balance.
My Dear Readers and Followers:
It took me a while to write this article for a few reasons. First of all, it was the end of 2010-s and the beginning of the 2020s. Secondly, this time around New Year usually signifies changes, wishes, hopes, intentions, and creates a vast array of different emotions. Some of us want to forget the previous year and start the new one from scratch. Some wish the previous year would never end.
Personally, I think the New Year itself represents our life in general. Every single moment is a past and a future simultaneously. What was “now” a second ago, is already our past, which was a future just a second ago, becomes “now.” So, as we are stepping into a new decade I am inviting you to contemplate what you could be grateful for in the decade which we just waved bye-bye to. For many years I was puzzled why almost at every training I attended, the coach always suggested we write a gratitude journal. The format of the journal could be different, but the idea to document the happy, positive events in our lives remained the same. Finally a little while ago, after attending another training for meridian tapping, it became clear to me that by documenting happy, positive events in our lives, we are creating an amazing resource to help us feel good every time we are not feeling our best. I am not talking about the “power of positive thinking.” I am talking about the ability to feel grateful and to feel good. This emotion gives us the ability to change our state of mind almost instantly. It gives us an opportunity to stop to be so serious about our lives, and feel more like a kid again. Which also brings into our lives elements of pure fun, joy, and laughter. Try it right now. Just remember something good that happened in your life, maybe today, or a couple of days ago. Something that helped put a smile on your face and gratitude in your heart. Allow yourself to notice how eager your mind is to feel this feeling again. Fill yourself with the emotions of feeling good, feeling grateful, and allow yourself to notice that maybe you are already smiling. It only takes a few minutes to change your state of mind. Now put both hands onto your chest, take three deep breaths and bring the emotion of gratitude into your heart, because the healing starts with us feeling grateful. With this feeling, we learn how to love and appreciate ourselves. We open ourselves to possibilities to heal ourselves and others. By radiating gratitude we are making our lives lighter, easier, happier. I invite you now to do a small exercise that helps me enormously when the situation is challenging. Put both hands on your chest. Take a deep breath and say one-word “gratitude.” Repeat 3 times: Take a deep breath on every point. Lightly tap yourself with two fingers on each point listed. Repeat the word Gratitude at each point. Now do this tapping sequence: 1.Inside of the eye: Gratitude 2.Outside of the eye: Gratitude 3.Under the eye: Gratitude 4.Under the nose: Gratitude 5.Chin: Gratitude 6.Color bone: Gratitude 7 Bring your hands back to chest: Gratitude I wish you all a Happy, Healthy New 2020. And a New 2020 decade Filled with Light, Love, and Laughter. I wish you that every moment of your will-be illuminated with gratitude and lightness. And about me, I am grateful for all of you in my life, for all the wishes I received over the last few weeks. For all the good words, polite gestures, for my practice. I invite you one more time to share the good news and share happiness, because by acting this way we create positive resources that are necessary for making our lives, and the lives of the people around us to be happier. |
